I couldn't remember the last time I slept (because of knee pain) standing, walking, stooping was painful, and falling became normal because of my knees. Now at 76 and after total knee replacement I realize walking, dancing, DOING HAY....I forget to even think about my knee!! The first two weeks are serious recovery but after that every day gets better and better. Now I can enjoy activities again!!!

I have taken my teenage boys to see him and he is incredibly patient, but also speaks to them in a way where they listen to his advice. We are very thankful for the care he has provided our family!
I was referred to Dr. Waits by my chiropractor. The first time I saw him I thought he was going to push me to have surgery. He did not. He took his time and educated me. He agreed with me that at that point in time surgery could wait. About a year later I had problems with my left shoulder. We agreed at that time it was time for me to have surgery.I have had three other shoulder surgeries, and I feel that I had better care from the full team than I had with the pervious surgeries. Doctor Trambaugh has been my children’s doctor for over 13 years. She is incredibly attentive, personable, and responsive. She listens to all concerns and goes above and beyond for the health of my children.
Dr Waits is very kind and compassionate. He listened to my complaints and talked about options. He helped me understand the treatment options and why he was recommending surgery. The surgery went well, the recovery was excellent, and I’m now pain free. His staff is outstanding and I enjoyed the whole experience. Would strongly recommend Dr Waits for orthopedic care!
My knee had been bothering me for well over a year. I had been to other doctors. Nobody explained it as well as Dr. Waites and his group. I was in constant pain. It has been over a month and I am doing well. I have not had anything more than healing pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Waites and his group. Thank you so much!!!! Great Dr. And great staff!!!!
Dr. Waits has been my surgeon 3 different times. He did an amazing job on every single one especially my total knee replacement. Gave me the opportunity to get back to living my life as a very active adult. He has a wonderful team and Hendricks Regional Health provided a personal and comforting environment. 1000% would trust my surgical needs to Dr. Waits and his team. They really do care.
