You'd expect a care company to be caring, compassionate and empathetic but you would be wrong. I would never describe Hales with these words. The culture is horrendous where staff and service users are treated awfully due to badly chosen management on a power trip. The company is incredible unsafe and I think it speaks volumes to the social care crisis we have that this company remains open. Staff overworked and undervalued. Service users seen as a number, not a human being with feelings and legitimate care needs.
I've been a healthcare worker for 3years before I found myself needing care. Hales provided my carers and I was shocked at the appalling level of care delivered. Instead of 30 minutes of care and support I barely received 10minutes. I was left to lie in a room with my own feaces for most of the day and even though I complained nothing changed. No human being should be subjected to the humiliating treatment I received from this company. The council should beware continued use of Hales Home Care. A total waste of money.
This is joke of a company
This company dont care about the clients,If thinking of them looking after your family member i wouldnt!!! They turn up when they please not when its suitable for your family member, dont care about their personal hygiene its non existent, they need to realise the client's are the ones who pay to keep there business running without them ,they arent a company. I'm so glad when my uncle leaves them in couple of weeks!!!!
Would give zero stars if it was an option. The management are a joke and the conditions that people are left in are disgusting. Complaints are completely ignored. It is no wonder their CQC rating is the lowest possible. Absolutely vile company. If you have any choice about leaving your loved ones in their care, please find an alternative.
