My mother has been at Hale Kuike for two years now and my family and I could not be more grateful for the care she receives there. The aides, busy as they are, are loving and kind and generous in their attention to the residents. Unlike the last place where my mom was, the turn over is low and accidents such as falls are rare. Dementia is such a complicated condition and the decision to place my father in a Memory Care facility was an extremely difficult one. After visiting several reputable facilities, my father and I selected Hale Ku’ike Pali as his new home. It was the BEST decision we ever made! We looked at innumerable facilities on O'ahu, and Hale Ku'ike is hands-down the best. The facilities, grounds, and food are outstanding and designed with care. But what truly sets them apart is that, better than anywhere else, the staff is specifically trained in caring for people with memory issues. They know all the right things to do and say and have created a homey and comforting environment that is extremely calming for the residents.
