Right at the start of road to Hana this beautiful place is serene and has everything that you need to relax and rejuvenate. They have rules that they send you ahead of time so it is easy to communicate . Kelsey was an amazing host who responded to us at any time . It was raining so we couldn’t do the farm tour . As an island girl from Haiti, I must say that this was the most magical experience I have ever had visiting ANY island. Hale Akua is a holistic experience that is almost impossible to described it has to be felt and seen for yourself . Lovely place to stay. Gorgeous views, beautiful room with private pool and a very homey experience.
We really liked it as it’s secluded, quiet and great base for exploring road to Hana. Beautiful views from the hot tub and also there is a free sauna. We felt very welcomed by Kelsey. There is no AC but fans were enough for us.
