I felt immediately at home when I walked in to 'visit the yarn'. Both times I have been in the staff has been more than helpful and we had a nice chat about yarn weights and the advantages of using yarn on cones. I purchased a large quantity that needed to be backordered. Imagine my surprise when the yarn arrived the next week!! Love this place!
Placed an order on their webpage for three colors. I did not realize that the tiny dots next to the item indicates stock level. One of the colors I need is now on backorder. Be careful when ordering from this company.

Hi Jesse, thank you for the feedback, and I apologize for the confusion. I've updated the site to make things more obvious on the product pages. While we did (and do) have red-highlighted text in the cart at checkout that alerts that an item may be delayed / backordered, you're right that the dots weren't intuitive enough up-front. Also worth noting (so that others know): we do not charge for backorders until they actually ship. So it is no-problem to cancel a backorder at any time. I positively adore this place! It's cozy, filled with amazing fibers, and such a welcoming atmosphere! I'm kicking myself for not coming in sooner, but glad it's only 10 minutes away!
