It was like my poor student budget days without the appropriate price. Booked a cabin for 4 people, only got pillows, blankets etc for 2. Went to the front desk and she promised it would get fixed. After our soak we discovered two thin fleece blankets and two empty pillow cases in a pile. Once again, front desk promised to follow up and fix it. On behalf of everyone visiting, closing at 7pm is not the answer here for a hot spring. Closing at 10:00pm like every other hot spring is what the people want. My review will change once your hours of oppositions do.
The stay was unfortunately very disappointing and not the experience we were expecting. The front desk service was poor, and Jennifer was not helpful or attentive. There were multiple times when guests were lined up waiting while she seemed distracted and uninterested in assisting anyone. The room also had a strange smell, and the pull-out bed was disgusting when we opened it. We were also only given one tiny blanket to use, which was surprising and frustrating. What used to be great has clearly been neglected yet they keep raising prices. Check in - Was okay, employee wasn't really friendly, but it was fine. Chalet - Hole in drywall, dirty carpet in bedroom, extremely used couch and very uncomfortable, crack in wood of dining chair, mini fridge was barely cold enough to keep food safe/good. Hot springs - The water is lovely but the pools are also neglected, they need new grout as there are sharp tile edges due to lack of grout at this point.
