I've been fencing here for about six months, and everyone I've met have made the space such a welcoming, and inclusive environment. I don't feel pushed beyond my skill level, or belittled for my lack, but ever growing knowledge of the sport. I was a little hesitant about starting fencing again, and I'm glad that I chose this place to do so.
Great local club for youth saber, and the coaches are incredible! The individualized approach applied by head coach, Julien Ouedraogo, provides a perfect plan for success and has brought about amazing results. Almost all of the young women’s saberists my daughters compete with have earned their A rating while still under the youth circuit and have won multiple national cups and championships. Family friendly coaching atmosphere. Great place to start the fencing journey for our son. They keep him engaged and interested.
I highly recommend Halberstadt Fencers' Club for its exceptional training and the wonderful community. Julien Ouedraogo is an outstanding coach whose expertise has greatly improved my skills. The club's warm, welcoming atmosphere fosters genuine friendships among members. It's a great place for both learning and connecting.
