I had a wonderful experience in what would otherwise have been a very scary, humiliating, damaging situation personally and professionally. From the beginning I was looking at a DWI with all the horrors it brings with it. The outcome of a misdemeanor with fines, an all day class and 3 months of driving restrictions is the best outcome I could have hoped for. I’m retired and try to be frugal with my money. I have always had two exceptions to that rule. Number one: I never stay at a cheap hotel. I don’t need to sleep on a bad mattress and take a shower with a family of mold or fungus. Number two: I never buy cheap sea food – the reasons should be obvious.
