When I brought my first COOP in 2013 I hired a contractor who unfortunately ripped me off because he did not have the credentials necessary to work in the building. After my first experience with a contractor I then asked the building which contractor they recommend and was told Hakka Contracting. Extremely Happy! Hakka Contracting recently completed a renovation on our co-op in Queens and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We still wake up and can’t believe it’s our apartment. Our kitchen went from just a place to quickly make food to our favorite space in the apartment and where we spend the most time. Our new oak herringbone floors were done with such precision we still continue to stare at it when we come home. I’ve never been happier to write a good review. We renovated our 3 bedroom apartment with Hakka, including installing hardwood floors, moving walls around, redoing the kitchen, moldings, paint, etc. we were expecting the living nightmare that one expects when doing serious renovation, like delays, mistakes, double charges, and more. Hakka Contractors was recommended to me by a coworker. I liked them so much, I hired them twice. First time was for a kitchen renovation in my co-op building and the other time was for my parent's home. Both projects were completed ahead of schedule and without any complications. The quotes were fair, the workers were professional and their work exceeded my expectations. Honest, trustworthy and great value for the money. I plan on hiring them again. They are the best contractors I've ever met.
