Hakata Japanese Steak House We use to drive here which was close to an hour because their were no Japanese steakhouses in our area at the time. It was always a pleasure and the food was great.
Everything else pales by comparison. My first hibachi restaurant experience happened here, and it will always be my favorite. Shogun's over on Western is bigger and has better ambiance, but Hakata has better food. Their ginger sauce is incredible!
Hakata is the best habatchi restaurant that I have been to. Everything is great there to eat. If you are in Jacksonville don't miss this. The food is better that Shogun, which is also in Jacksonville. Hakata is a hidden treasure, that I wish I would have started going to sooner before I moved away.
The House Dressing is the Best This is a fun and exciting place to eat. They cook the food right in front of you, literally almost in your lap. They make the eating experience come to life!
