Second visit to Kimura and even better this time. Shabu shabu with U.S. wagyu was tender and not heavy. The beef intestine was surprisingly not greasy — adding the yuzu sauce made it even lighter. Fried chicken skin (thick, crispy outside, juicy inside) and chicken meatballs are must-orders. Tried the Kimura Roll — lightly torched for a crispy rice base, nice touch. Kimura is the absolute best Japanese restaurant. I couldn’t recommend it enough. After eating here, I can’t get a don bowl anywhere else, the fish is exceptional! The service is outstanding. It is a very affordable price for the quality of the food and the lunch menu is great if you wanna save a bit. Eat here!!
