Update Nov/23: After the first year I am very happy to report that the system is working perfectly! The Hakai proposal estimated that our annual production would be 13,666 kWh whereas our actual production was 13,803 kWh. Based on these numbers our production has offset over 73% of our energy use. Hakai Energy Solutions were recommended to us by our son-in-law after he had a solar energy system installed on his home. The work done by their representative Nick Fielding was informative and gave us a precise idea of what the process would entail. Great experience from start to finish. The guys were professional, communicative and informative. Pricing was competitive and install went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Hakai for anyone whose considering adding solar set up to their homes or businesses.
Got quotes from a few different companies and Hakai felt the most reliable with their high level of professionalism, communication, and thoroughness. They were very responsive throughout. Nick was very thorough with the initial quote, the crew who installed our solar panel system on our roof were efficient and did an excellent job, the final hookup to BC Hydro went smoothly, and they were helpful with the government grants.
