I had a terrible experience with this doctor who outright dismissed my complaints after 9 months of waiting. He ran a blood test for something neither of us thought I had. He did not test for the thing I came in about. He partially screened for it by testing my mobility in 2 joints. He said it was impossible for me to have this disease because neither of my parents are documented as having it. I waited 9 months for nothing.
I wish there was negative stars. This dr is not helpful to us previous patients of other Dr's. He is supose to help all not just his choice. Isn't it bad that the only ones he wants to treat are people who have never seen a Dr for RA. While the rest of us in Southern illinois have to drive long ways or suffer. Wow way to take care of your community. I thought to help ALL is what Dr's do. Hmmmm 🤔
The staff and doctor here are wonderful people very caring and attentive. I have seen my doctor several times now and he has always listened to and addressed my concerns. I had several issues with insurance not wanting to pay for a medication and they worked me into a schedule to see him for the next medication on my insurances list. He is gentle and soft spoken but definitely not dismissive just seems to take it all in and think about a solution for the issues as a whole whether it be a specialist or a medication. I was a patient of the one and only rheumatologist at SIH, but she has since left the area. I tried to have a referral sent to see Hassane but they refused me as a patient due to being a patient of the old doctor at the practice. I’m not the first this has happened to. The poor ladies answering the questions as to “why” couldn’t give an explanation other than him wanting to serve more individuals in the community that haven’t been a patient previously. What?
