If it were not for Julia, I would not half felt half as confident in my hair. Julia is a master at her craft and it is clear from the moment you walk into the salon. Her space is filled with earthy tones and beachy touches that would make anyone feel at ease. I can’t imagine going to another salon when I’m in Long Island. Incredibly grateful to have found Hairstory!
Ive been going to Julia for several years now, she’s truly amazing at what she does. I have very long, thick, curly hair that can be hard to manage and I know I’ll always leave her salon with my hair clean, silky, cut well & styled beautifully no matter what I’m getting done. Thank You very much for the service . I can highly recommend Hairstory Salon. Julia is great ! She is very friendly and attentive.
Julia was very sweet and easy to talk too but she would also make comments that made me a little uncomfortable. She was making comments about my eyebrows when I was there for highlights and a haircut which I found odd. She also did not correctly tone my hair and left the front pieces and top a different color blonde than the rest of my hair. I totally understand mistakes happen and I reached out to her to let her know and she kindly brought me back in to fix it but also charged me for a blowout which I found quite outrageous... read more
