This is a 1 of 1 experience truly. It’s hard to find a reliable hair stylist in Texas. Day will never leave you disappointed. The best hair stylist I’ve been too in Dallas Tx hands down.
Day does the best curly flip over sew ins! She is so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I reached out to her with a million questions and she patiently answered each and every one before I ever made an appointment. I’m picky about the health of my natural hair and Day cares for it like it’s her own, using a net to reduce tension and providing suggestions for treatments and trims. Sooo thankful Ms. Day was able to see me last minute. She took her time with my silk press (authentic silk press WITH the hot comb!!) and made sure to educate me along the way. When I tell people Google is your friend that's just what I mean. I Googled sew-ins near me and went through several salons before I scrolled upon HairbyDay. I looked through her photos and reviews and was impressed by her natural hair care even though I was looking for a sew-in. Once I saw that, and then the sew-ins, I was convinced to book here. Got my first ever silk press today and I have to say I was very pleased! Day was professional, gentle and patient. She showed me also how to preserve the hairstyle. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my hair so soft and silky and straight before 😅I was happy with her trim too and I’d probably be going back as I know she isn’t scissors happy. Overall a really good experience!
