Nelson was highly recommended to me and I'm so pleased how he transformed my hair from drab to fab! He took the time to examine my hair and make his recommendations for cut and color. I'm physically handicapped with a power wheelchair, and Nelson was very accommodating, also helping me transfer from chair to chair...very thoughtful. He's a true artist!

Nelson is truly fantastic! Extremely skilled, and quick. I have very thick hair and he cut it better and faster than anyone I've ever been to before. Did a dramatic transformation from long to a shaggy razored bob. Knows all the techniques and tricks. Understood my vision from a few pictures, but also used his expertise to make suggestions so it was even better suited to my face and hair. I have been coming here to see Carrie for YEARS and I love her work. I live in Sacramento and haven't been able to find anyone I like here so I've been driving to Davis. I love that she will hear me out, I usually have a general idea of what I want (length or style wise) and outside of that I just ask her to tweak it how she decides so that in the end it'll suit my face shape and look good on me. She has never failed and I will continue to come back here and see her until forced otherwise.
