Sadly this groomer is not as good as she use to be.I have used her for about 12 years off and on.She loses her temper with the dogs.I know because I walked in on her and she was violently shaking a dog around.My dog was spooked by her. He did not act right after we picked him up for about a week. I never went back. I suppose it could be because Mary is getting old and does not have the patience she once had.No matter what her reason is our dogs should always be treated with care! P.S. Best Grooming in Elizabethton – We have always went to Hair of the Dog. We have schnauzers and they always look beautiful when they come home. Mary Alice does a wonderul job on them. They always come home very happy, clean and a beautiful hair cut. She takes very good care of them. It is extremely hard to get an appointment, but it is well worth the wait.
Mary and Christie are absolutely the best at what they do. Maggie and Cooper love to go their, and they are treated as "family". Mary is just the best anywhere.
