I’ve had mixed experiences at Hair Mechanics. My first visit with Christine was excellent—she was attentive, asked clear questions about what I wanted, and followed through perfectly. The cut looked great, and I left very satisfied. Unfortunately, my second visit was disappointing. This time I was with Clove and gave the same instructions: I asked for nothing to be taken off the top, or at most a quarter inch, emphasizing that I wanted my hair to remain well beyond my eyebrows. I have been going to Clove for years! I have never had a single issue! She has done any crazy colors or idea I have ever had and kills it every time! I get so many compliments on my hair and I am always sending people to her!! She also is the only person that has ever cut my thick hair to a point I don’t get migraines for my hair!! I will continue to go to her!!

Girlfriend made an appointment for 4pm and they close at 5 but they decided to close early. Without a heads up. I do not recommend

My son got his extremely long, thick, curly hair cut short’ish here. The woman who cut his hair first banded up his hair in section so it could be donated after it was cut. She was very skilled and cut his hair into the style he wanted. The ambiance is laid back and casual. I really like the cut and the stylist and so does my son. I wish I remembered her name, but I’ll get it next time. We’ll be back!
