I find it ironic that this place said it empowered its clients. I went in for highlights and wore baggy clothes and Zoe asked me if I photoshopped my body in a pic I sent her of myself (to show her the shade of blonde I wanted). I’m not sure what was with the body shaming, but most smart people can figure out tight clothes highlight your curves and baggy clothes hide them. Doris of Valley Gurl Skin just moved her business to the CUTEST witchy shop and I’m obsessed. Hair Havok is a hidden gem in Santa Clarita. I had no idea this oasis of living dead oddities existed in the unassuming Soledad Canyon plaza of SC but I am SO GLAD to have found it (thanks to Doris). Doris has been taking care of my maturing yet still acne prone skin for about a year. I always leave her studio glowing, moisturized and relaxed. I had Hope as my stylist. She did amazing! It’s been a few weeks and it still looks beautiful when I style, and feels really soft. I’ve been recommending her to everyone who compliments my hair.
