As lovely as the student was who blow dried my hair and styled, she lacked time management skills, taking an extremely long time to complete a small service today. It was dead inside the salon and I was placed with a student who was not monitored closely or educated. I asked for long loose curls but received tight ringlits. Took my daughter to get her bangs cut here this evening. The woman messed her bangs up, uneven and really short. 3 days before Christmas. You should feel good leaving a hair salon but unfortunately my daughter is in tears. Will never return nor will I refer this place to anyone. If I could give no stars I would. So disappointed 😔

I am very dissatisfied with the service. The staff member, whose name I don’t know, often spoke to herself in a low voice, barely communicating with me directly. She proceeded with actions without consulting me, simply murmuring to herself. Although we are both from India, she made several offensive remarks about my country. She commented on India’s limited water storage capacity and criticized the 9-to-5 job culture. My family and I have been coming to Hair Effects for years, for myself since I was a young kid, I’ve been with nearly every hair dresser there and from moment I walk in to moment I leave, I’ve always felt welcomed and taken care of.
