He is closed. He is closed and I know why. He never kept regular hours, his restaurant looked dirty and his food - at best - was mediocre and inconsistent. I hope he has better luck in merced.

Winner! with stipulations. Oh! boy Big Will can cook. In my option his food is as good as it gets and rivals New Olrleans resturtants I've had the fortune of visiting. Particulary good are his Gumbo and Jambalya dishes. On the negative side, This is a poor location, family operated business, and wait times are longer than average. This business would benefit from talented wait staff, but maybe the Family thing is the goal there. I order the food to go, thus eliminating my objections.

southern food I have been to Big Wills many times and I just love the food. Will and his whole family are a delight to sit and talk with. If you like red beans and rice, oh my, you must try Big Wheels. I always start with a cup of gumbo--better than mine!! Their fried catfish...mmmmmm, fried chicken.....mmmmmmmmmmmmm The sweet potato pie is always wonderful, but for a true delight order a bread pudding to share.
