Juan has been cutting and coloring my hair for quite a few years and does an amazing job!! I like to change things up and he always delivers a style that looks great whether my hair is straightened or left naturally curly.
Juan is a true pro doing this work his entire life & not to mention, a very FUN conversationalist! Comfortable, safe, private space, steps off the downtown El at Macy's & Wabash-great location, flexible scheduling. He's the BEST!
Juan has been a godsend for me. He’s been cutting my hair for five years overall and just cut my hair two days ago. The cut looks outstanding! I could not be happier. In addition to seeing Juan for my haircuts, I also buy all of my haircare products from him - stripping shampoo, regular shampoo, conditioner and smoothing cream. He is my hair guru and personal therapist wrapped into one. If you want a premier men’s haircare experience, go see Juan. He is the best!

I highly recommend Salon 29! Juan has been making me look beautiful and stylish for many years now. He's dependable, great with color and highlights/lowlights, masterful with scissors and a blow dryer, and fun to talk to. Salon 29 is located in a beautiful, historic building right downtown and the salon itself is beautifully decorated and welcoming.
