My wife went to this place to get a Keratin treatment(Silk Touch Express). I went to go pick her up and when I arrived there I heard the staff openly badmouthing and insulting my wife in Spanish. My wife doesn't speak Spanish and I learned it as a second language in school so I don't really look like I speak it either. I had the 24 Karat Keratin treatment. It was meant to last up to 6 months, but my usual frizz came back after only 4 weeks. This was not my first keratin treatment (and not even my first one at Hair Bar), so I know how to care for keratin-treated hair. Normally, it lasts around 4 months for me, so I expected something similar this time. I am not sure what went wrong. I really liked the staff and the location, but unfortunately, my hair is already back to its original state.
I got the silk touch keratin treatment with Jacqueline and she was the best. I am a blonde and she made the time to give me the best aftercare treatment even though she was very busy. You can tell she really cares about her clients and is very passionate in what she does. Definitely recommend, my results turned out great!
I almost want to gate keep this place and my amazing stylist Jackie. Jackie has been doing my keratins/blowouts and haircuts for years, and more recently I started letting her do my color and I wish I did sooner. Not only is she super talented, funny, and sweet but she always has her clients’ backs. She doesn’t try to upsell you on services you don’t need, so you know that it’s in your best interest when she suggests a particular treatment or service.
