Have a number of defects in my brand new 620f that was delivered brand new, from scuffs from their polishing in the windscreen frame leaving lots of white stains to cracks in an intrrnal panel and boarding step they sent me a $5 sticker to cover it up They want to fix these defects with cheap nasty repairs that look like crap and they believe is acceptable. Just purchased my signature 2004 493f used from a dealer with 170 hours. Awesome boat and handles the chop and swell nicely.
Bought a brand new 532f in the 90s. The major design flaw with this boat was that they layered glass over marine ply on the deck. Over time of course water penetrated the glass and of course rotted out the ply causing a spongy deck that felt like it could collapse ar any time. I don't know what possesed John Haines,an experienced boat builder to do this. When I contacted Greg Haines he didn't want to know about it.
