The wines are good but it's a small place. The outside festival needed umbrellas or tents for shade! Other than that it was ok.
It's great for any of the cheese, chocolate wine pairings. But was taken-aback by the rudeness of the staff at harvest fest. The teens running the tent seemed angry, especially the young man on the grill. The woman running the upstairs bar, also rude. The wines were nice however.
We had a nice time yesterday. My husband doesn't drink, so I was the only one tasting. We got the cheese basket, and sat on the back deck. It was great! The basket was quite a surprise. For $23 we got 3 large selections of cheese (1/4 lb each) a pkg. of hard salami, crackers, hummus and olives. It was a really nice day.
None of the wines in the tasting really stood out. We asked if we could do just a tasting and they said no because there's a festival going on so we paid $20 a person instead of 10 for the tasting. The festival consisted of a few people with booths selling clothes and Jewellery and a band playing much too loud music into a microphone. Slightly disappointing.
Very beautiful vineyard. Went for the fall festival. Good size samples of many wines and friendly staff.
