The staff here were very kind & welcoming and we were put at ease straight away. We were offered a hot drink & a quiet room to speak to a member of staff who patiently listened and gave helpful advice. It was just what we needed in a time of anxious crisis.
I've been twice for different mental health crises, and from a very earnest stand point I'm aware that mental health nurses can't solve every single issue in my life for me, but being able to arrive with no prejudice, be given compassion, patience and a cup of tea whilst I wait to see a nurse. And then be given the time and space to truely be heard and given advice to help me survive is unparalleled.
