The Hahndorf knife shop has amazing service and super friendly staff. Nice selection of knives, when I get my knives sharpend the edge lasts a long time.
Absolutely disgraceful experience. I walked into this shop expecting basic customer service and got completely ignored. The staff couldn’t care less about customers — I tried to speak to them multiple times and they just brushed me off like I didn’t even exist. The attitude was cold, dismissive, and honestly came across as racist. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a store before. It’s 2026 — how is this kind of behavior still happening? Went there today to get my Axe and pocket knife sharpened. It was done in a hour, knife is so sharp I could shave with it, cost was very reasonable and the service was out standing. I’ll be going back with more of the household knife’s to get them sharpened.
Friendly greeting as you walk through the door, such a wide variety of beautiful, high quality products!
Well worth the trip to have my knives sharpened here. Just make sure you call and book a time, these guys were booked out for a week.
