Wonderful place to hike and see birds and other critters. I’m taking off a star for all the times I’ve gotten beaned in the head by frisbees. I have nothing against disc golf, but I wish there were more frisbee free areas in the nice shady part of this park. The Arroyo Seco trail does a better job of providing separate areas for different activities.

A beautiful and pleasant park but the surfaces of the two softball fields are so irregular that bad bounces are dangerous to fielders and depressions are ankle hazards to fielders and base runners. Rough field is caused by massive population of gophers digging holes. Sometimes you see the gophers stick their heads out of the holes and sometimes you see hawks diving to catch the gophers.
