A great place for birdwatching! The nature areas includes oak woodland along with wetland habitats filled with willows and cottonwood trees with distinctly different animals inhabiting each environment. There are numerous trails branching out from the main parking lot meant for the disc golf course. Be aware and respectful to the horse riders and disc golf players if you’re going to romp around and explore
Nice little place to walk around need to go back and finish the walk
Park is closed from dusk to dawn.
Beware of the immense amount of foxtails at this park. Keep your dogs away from them if you aren’t familiar with this deadly plant. Google showed photos of water but the park was completely dry and confusing to get to the main trail. I love nature, but since this park is not maintained well by the town, I don’t recommend wasting your time here.
