I have had low vision my whole life and have always wanted to learn braille but always had a hard time teaching myself. The free braille learning series with accompanying videos and/ or phone call instructor arrived by mail within days and helped me learn quickly and was stress free. Since my loss of vision I have done extensive research on trying to find assistance in home with a lot of things I can no longer do and I have not found anything locally in my state actually other than one agency in another city came and hook me up with internet at a low cost and showed me how to use a a reader. In May 2024, I was sick with strep throat and went on antibiotics for four days and was getting no relief so went on another anabiotic took that anabiotic and after 24 hours I woke with about 75% of my vision gone. After 2 weeks in the hospital I was released with no real answer as to why my vision loss occurred. I started a vocational or occupational therapy at the hospital and while there was told about Hadley and the products and services that they offer to assist in vision, loss and blindness.
