After 22 days in the hospital at Duke for a simple thyroid and parathyroid surgery, I will never go back to Duke. Every day, it was something different. Duke sucks!!!
Today, I had the privilege of meeting and being treated by Dr. Kazaure. After receiving a diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism, without any information, from my primary care doctor, I did research. Thankfully, I found Dr. Kazaure. Amazingly, I had an appointment within two weeks! She confirmed the diagnosis; however, she explained the issue in great detail.
