My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. We could not have been in better hands, literally and figuratively. Dr. Najafian answered all of my questions. He made sure that we knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. I never felt rushed. He is easy to talk to .and compassionate. His staff works well along with him. Last October I had colon cancer and resection done by Dr. Najafian. I cannot tell you enough what a great doctor he is. He explains all the details and listens to all of the patients concerns. I have been lucky considering everything. I should have wrote this review before now but I do put things off. Thanks again Dr. Najafian.
Dr. Najafian first saw me in the hospital following a bout of diverticulitis (not my first). After working with him, I understand how he has earned his outstanding reputation. Despite the severity of my condition at that time, he counseled patience and felt that we could manage my condition conservatively at that point. I have seen Dr. Najafian on several subsequent occasions when I've had flares, and he continues to counsel a conservative approach. I trust him implicitly! Pat S.
January 4, 2017 my husband had his surgery to remove a malignant mass found in his Transverse Colon. We were referred to Dr. Najafian by Dr. Aubrey Chung, our amazing Urologist. What can we possibly say other than now we have two (2) amazing specialists in our lives! I can't imagine having any other Surgeon perform the type of surgery that was required for my husband. When Dr. Najafian first told us that he would be performing my husband's surgery robotically it was definitely daunting to say

Dr.Najafian presented as a compassionate and caring Physician. He took time to answer questions and provided clear and concise responses. He provided a surgical procedure on a Sunday morning so we would not have to wait for several days to pass with confusion and concern. W have a high regard for him as a surgeon and a human being.
I always felt a high degree of confidence with his abilities with my procedures and surgeries. He always listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. The hospital staff respected him and followed his directions for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Najafian and West Valley Colon and Rectal Surgery Center.
I first saw Dr. Najafian on an emergency basis in 2007. He recognized my problem immediately and within 15 minutes he had performed a minor procedure to relieve my condition. Over the next several years he performed several palliative procedures and finally a corrective procedure in 2011. I had been dealing with this condition for 20 years. On each occasion he explained everything thoroughly to my husband and I and listened as we asked our questions.
