I have known Dan from Haddam Marine for about 13 years now. I first started going to him on a recommendation from a fellow boater, I brought him a merc 3.0 to have him go completely through and fix anything he could find wrong with it. I gave Dan a cap on how much I wanted to spend $$$. Dan was extremely honest about what was needed and how much time it would take, he came in well under my cap. Dan is the best marine outboard mechanic i have ever met. His knowledge is unbelievable and work quality is beyond excellent. My 115 motor was down and out when I got it back it runs like the day it was first purchased!! Highly recommend Dan if he can't fix it no one can.
I can’t say enough about Dan. This man is a true mechanic who dedicated to finding the solution the problem. He is knowledgeable, respectful, honest, and will go the distance to fix the issue. Guys like Dan are hard to come by nowadays and I cannot recommend him enough. A true professional.
I called on a Saturday afternoon thinking I'd leave a message, but he picked up and immediately helped me troubleshoot a recent issue I had with my motor. He gave me some ideas to try to fix. I'm very thankful for his help!
