My doctors were excellent. Operating Room for cardiology was very uncomfortable, wires everywhere. My wife was told she would see me after surgery but they told her after the surgery she would have to wait until the next day. They called her one hour after she left and said she could see me in a half hour. Total lack of communication on their part. Went in after a traumatic extreme massage to my head and neck caused vertigo and spasms and wast treated with complete gentleness, understanding, dignity and care.  They gently talked to me about my fears about reactions the drugs they wanted me to take or testing, they respected my choices and my fears, but after the brilliant PA clearly explained the process and effects I took it and am glad I did. I felt HEARD and respected by him and everyone there. Thank you so so so much to all of you!

I called to confirm that my insurance was accepted after it was listed as an in network provider on my insurance’s provider directory. I spoke to someone named Dawn at the Urgent Care. Dawn was quick to say that my insurance was not accepted without asking for any specific member information. The only thing she asked for was the name of the insurance provider, which she was clearly unfamiliar with. I called for an mri on Aug 7 and they scheduled me for Aug 21. When the schedule person asked about bloodwork I said my most recent was done and the person said they could get the results. Two more people called me (total of 3 now) during the 2 or more weeks, again saying they would get the results. The day of the scan the hospital called and said it was cancelled because the lab was too old (by 6 days). They waited until the day of the MRI to get my results... I have had bad test results for 2 years in a row THS and blood sugar and this Dr. never called me and was completely dismissive when I asked questions. I decided to change Dr.s and good thing I did because I have thyroid cancer and have had for 3 years. I now may die because this man completely missed the ball on this. DO not go there if you value your life.

TERRIBLE!!  You come to the ER because you’re bleeding and in severe pain from a kidney stone.  They took people before me  who didn’t look like they’re in distress and they came in after me.  I waited over 3 hours to be seen.  They should be paid on a sliding scale, the longer it takes to be seen, the less the Insurance company pays them.

The hospital itself is great for general surgery but the ER is probably one of the worse around. Two very bad experiences with the ER. This time we ended up signing ourselves our because of an incompetent staff. The aid that we had was absolutely horrible and has no business in patient care. We should have known better from our first bad experience at the Chilton ER. We should have gone elsewhere.

Not impressed with Dr Bernstein. He never truly explained the full progrnosis and condition for My Mother. He recommended surgery when the actual surgeon was against it. The surgeon explained and was more upfront about her condition then Dr Bernstein. Dr also recommended a treatment while she was in the Hospital declining, losing weight, unable to walk. His response was "The treatment cant hurt". Meanwhile the radiologist that performs the treatment said "absolutely not". He never addressed all the things that showed u... read more
