Would strongly advise to go [literally] anywhere else for sleep medicine. The doctor was the least professional I have encountered, poor patient experience all around with poor/disjointed process, unfriendly (with the exception of one person behind the desk), and long wait times "because the doctor is thorough". Ultimately, what I cannot condone was the doctor acting as if I should be fully versed in sleep apnea upon my first appointment. I have felt the sincerity and help from the staff.
As a professional, I just worried about my quality of Sleep and went there to meet Dr. Fariborz Ashtyani, which listed him as a Sleep Medicine Specialist in Hackensack, That was an awful experience that I have. He constantly wants me to do his sleep test before checking some other risk factors such as Depression or even check some symptoms including bruxism. I am really upset to have such a provider around.
