Thank you to Captain Hugh and the Hackensack Riverkeepers for a fascinating sunset eco tour last night! He helped us spot cormorants, white and blue herons, osprey, 4 species of seagulls, and a bald eagle's nest. He told us about the environmental history of the area and about the ships in Newark bay. We enjoyed a fabulous sunset, were not hot because the water is cooler than land, and the boat is so smooth that I didn't get a bit of motion sickness!
