Our family is incredibly grateful to Dr. Corzo and the wonderful team at Johnson Acute Rehabilitation at Riverview Medical Center (5 North Unit) in Red Bank, NJ. My husband was transferred there on March 4, 2026 after severe cellulitis left him unable to stand or walk. I have 3 fractures and I went to the Riverside Medical Center Rehabilitation Center. I was treated beyond 5 stars. Everyone was so polite, helpful, supportive, friendly and respectful. The staff goes above and beyond for their patents.. I didn’t miss my home because, I felt the love. appreciation and respect of all the staff. I believe the staff was handpicked. Had an excellent experience in acute rehab at Johnson rehabilitation institute. The doctors and therapists were excellent. So supportive and motivating. Friendly and caring. I am very happy that I was able to complete acute rehab here. I highly recommend this facility.
This rehab center is not focused on helping people. Today, They denied my husband because they said he didn’t have a 24 hour a day home health aide set up when he went home. Truthfully, they discriminated against him because he had ALS. They were not willing to work with him from the start. Every other acute rehab in the area accepted him which shows just they discriminate against patients. They should be ashamed of themselves picking and choosing who they are willing to work with.
