In all the hotels/motels I have stayed in over the years, I have never felt as welcome or cared for as I have at the Hacas Inn in Bamfield, BC. Full disclosure, there was a family emergency while we were stuck off-the-grid on the West Coast Trail. We emerged muddy, smelly, and desperate for a phone charger so we could contact our family. Yeah the bed wasn’t extremely comfortable, but if you like hard beds then this is the place for you! I stayed there for one night, it looked pretty newly renovated and the flooring was nice. I struggled to turn on the shower, which had a window. The couch was comfy, and it’s close to the Bamfield market which has lots of meals for hiking. I tried to go to the office and ask about breakfast suggestions but nobody was there and the door was locked. Anywho I would go back!
We were coming off of the west coast trail and needed an unplanned room for 6 at 930pm… April took great care of us.. getting us a suite, some food, so many towels and soaps.. The room was a suite that was big enough for the whole group and was ready and clean. We loved our stay and it was such a great way to end our trail adventure together. Highly recommended for those coming off trail and figuring out next steps!
Very very nice and sweet room, manager is a very nice lady, just ask her what you want to know on the trip she would help.
