I will never eat here again. As a long time returning customer expecting the greatness of days past, I was dissapointed to say the least. Food was just shy of inedible, cold wet meat (carnitas?), salty overcooked cold asada, cilantro thrown on top was black, wet and nasty with old leathery tortillas. At least the staff was friendly. Not sure what happened here, perhaps new ownership?? Sixty bucks? That was my last time ever eating here. Do not waste your time or money!
Had a mediocre breakfasf burrito about a month ago from the east side location. Decided to give it another shot. Ordered the barbacoa breakfast burrito and it was terrible. Flavorless with sparse meat that was mostly fat. Ended up eating only half of it and tossed the rest. In hindsight I should have asked for a refund. Well, not going back there again.
The tacos are plain, the service slow, the buss bins are always full. The chips are stale. We used to love it here…This place used to be hablo tacos, now it’s no hablo tacos.
My wife and I tried the location at The Grove today. But since I couldn't find it on Google maps, I'm going to leave the review here. She had two tacos, a carne asada and a carnitas and we got the kids portion of rice and beans for my son, who is a year old. I had a bite of his rice and beans, the portion was great for three bucks, but it was way too salty. My woman ordered carne asada tacos and i ordered a chicken burrito but we were served this chunky, salty, stringy, fatty, low quality meat that resembled as carnita meat on her tacos and instead of them apologizing and fixing our order they started chuckling and said it was carne asada. As a Mexican who has had asada tacos for my entire life that was far from asada. And the chicken burrito made me feel sick. Terrible food and subpar customer service.
