Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement outlets that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. ReStore is a sustainable fundraising model with net proceeds from our stores funding the construction of Habitat homes. We currently have three ReStore locations in Oakland, San Jose, and Concord.

Had another great experience at the ReStore this past weekend. We were looking for bifold closet doors and found 3 in the size we needed, but we needed the 4th door. The team agreed to search in the back, moved some other doors (including pretty heavy ones) around and found 5 more doors in the same size, so we completed our set of 4, and the other set of 4 in the showroom. Very grateful for the extra effort of Kami, Dolphis and Hancel, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, team ReStore!
I have shopped at Habitat since they were in the old bowling alley on Monument. The inventory and bargains may vary but the heart and soul of the employees never does. Hansel and Andrea are delightful and they make sure all transactions are fair to the customer and provide finances to the Habitat program. After all - the stores primary purpose is to support construction of new homes. If you’re looking to get scammed for useless things and bad customer service, this is the place for you! My girl’s bathroom faucet needed to be replaced so I told her to go buy one and I’ll install it for her so she went to ReStore to buy one. She found one there and asked them if it works which they said yes, she also bought a lamp that’s supposed to hook to the ceiling and they told her it would come with everything it needs.
