I purchased 2 exterior doors from Habitat. Unfortunately my exterior walls are framed in 2x6 and the doors would not fit. I returned to the store the next day to return or exchange the doors. I was told I could exchange the doors for something that would fit but they didn’t have anything. I told them I was open to exchange them for something else but they were not open to that. Went in for the first time looking for 2 items asked the man with long hair in a ponytail for help but all he said was go look in the yard when I finally found the items myself and went and drove around to pick up the same man acted like he was way too busy to help load it so told another helper that was there on his first day he loaded the wrong thing and the man went out yelling at him to put it back and was very rude !!! Maybe he doesn't like his job very well not sure.
They are great with pricing just horrible staff, yes it’s racism again in 2024 at some point they will have to realize everyone’s strands of dna 🧬 has slight differences and circumstances dictate the person you become. That means not every black person is a thief a criminal or a homeless bum. And at A habitat for humanity … they stole a dollar from me Texas sure is stuck in a trap of racism
Decent items in the building but the prices are crazy high compared to any other location I've been to. They even have had broken items for sale that are priced like they are in perfect condition. Staff is decently nice so that's a us but the prices need to be evaluated
I’ve gone to this place twice. Looking for some doors I can refinish and use. WAY over priced! The Austin location has way better pricing but faster turnover on stock so purchase quick if you find a deal. Most, if not all items are donated so you’d think any amount of money made off an item would be a good sale or reasonably priced. Nope! No haggling, people up front are rude and don’t care to be there. The interior door I wanted was priced at $850 two weeks ago, went back to see if price had dropped, heck no. Now at $1100! ... read more
