This plumber, Daniel ********, is a Con Man. He came under First American Home Warranty and lied to the Home Warranty company to make sure it was denied, but then he offered to do the work without the Home Warranty claim. Obvious shyster and not to be trusted. Don't let him in your home!
Incompetent, dishonest, unresponsive, and lied to my insurance company.
Do Not Use!!! Habit Plumbing was unfortunately used by my home warranty company. This was a disaster from the beginning. Took them 4 days for appointment. My husband took off work and the technician showed up at 5 p.m. on a Friday to tell us the water heater needs replaced. Today makes 11 days with no hot water bc the technician has not submitted the report for purchase to the home warranty company. I have called both the Habit and my home warranty. I am very disappointed with this service. They were referred to repair a leaky faucet through my home warranty service. I put an online request in on Saturday, Jan. 13. I promptly received a text message telling me that Habit Plumbing would contact me within 24 business hours. That did not happen. Three days later on Tuesday night, I called and left a message on their answering machine requesting a call-back to set up an appointment. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE experience in every way. The plumber Dan AKA ****** came out, completely mis diagnosed my plumbing issue in the bath tub, and lied on his report to the insurance company that is supposed to cover it out of sheer laziness. I then proceeded to call the manager. The manager named Dwayne came on, and he was EXTREMELY rude, and terrible to deal with in every way. On June 26, PM, our hot water heater stopped working and we had ~14 days left on our American Home Shield Warranty. I submitted a work request thru AHS website very early morning on June 27th and was told that Habit Plumbing would call me between 2 hours and 24 hours. I got a call later that afternoon and was told by this young receptionist that there was an opening the next day between 8-11. I was ecstatic since we had NO hot water.
