I just arrived to Kansas (military). I scheduled two appointments with Dr. Habib and I still have yet to meet this man. Both appointments, went past 25 minutes over my scheduled time and I decided to leave. I have a job just like he does. If you care about people being considerate of your time, avoid this place.
Dr. Habib was great at explaining every step of the test along the way. He did great at going over results with me and has a wonderful bedside manner.
Dr. Habib is predatory towards young women. During my appointment he hugged me multiple times without letting go, told me how attractive I am, after I said I have a hard time with facial recognition he asked who takes care of me and if I live alone. When I was trying to leave the appointment he said 'one more' and gave me another long hug (where I was not hugging him back) and then kissed me, I turned my face in time for him to only kiss my cheek but that was not what he was going for.
In my opinion, the Dr does not listen well and is rather dismissive. He comes off kind of arrogant.They will hold your prescriptions 'hostage' until you make an appt. BTW, I was averaging an appt every 2-3 weeks but would still not be allowed to get them filled until I made another appt.They do not return calls!
Dr. Habib is a decent doctor, but he tended to micro-manage my wife who has Alzheimer's by scheduling monthly visits. This was unnecessary considering we see her PCP quarterly. We were also paying out of pocket which brings up the point why I really can't recommend him. After finding another neurologist in our network, we received a BILL from Dr. Habib's office. Doc was great, however, I'm going into almost 30 days since my visit without my referring physician receiving a test result report. Unacceptable.
Dr. Habib is a kind and compassionate doctor who really takes the time to get to know his patients and to make sure that he meets all their needs to the best of his ability.
Dr. Habib is a great neurologist, being both kind and respectful to his patients.
