Doug and Vickie Hardy have taken over Haar's Auction along with Connie and Al Darbrow and Sandra Haar effective March 1, 2003. Our grandfather Vance Haar started the auction business in the 1940's traveling around picking up and selling merchandise for people. His son George Haar joined him upon return of the military. In 1972 Vance Haar passed away leaving his legacy to his 4 children George, Boyd, Elwood and Claribel. They incorporated in 1974. BEWARE! Hot-headed drunk'n Golf-Cart Jockey Nut job on a golf cart! BEWARE!!! Tonight the underbelly of Haar's drive-in was distinctly revealed. The raging alcoholic on a golf cart told me I had to move my minivan, because the row we were parked in was "cars only". We were parked next to an SUV. I said to what I now refer to as "the golf-cart jockey" we would move if the larger SUV next to us and the two other SUVs move as well. Good prices Two mvies for less than the price of one. Reasonably priced concessions. Sometimes it is very crowded and some patrons are a little rowdy. I usually have a good time. i have taken my kids to many movies here. I love drive ins. this is one of the last in our carea.
Classic Family Experience This is a must do family experience. Harr's is an old fashioned drive-in theater. They typically play two movies back to back. You park your car next to a speaker or can tune your radio in. PIck up trucks and mini-vans are great, but many just bring camping chairs, blankets, or sit in cars. RecommendedGreat place for family night fun. Really like you can pick your spot online so that you don't get stuck somewhere you don't like. Food very good. Management was on top of things too.
Great drive in! Came to see Gru and Thor and both movies were great. The staff were very friendly and the food was good! Will definitely be back.
It was our first time here and it was so much fun!! Such a great atmosphere and great snack bar!!
