Dr. Massarotti performed an emergency GI surgery on my mother. Without the surgery, my mother would have gotten a severe infection or worse. Both the surgery and recovery process went well. Also, she was very pleasant and informative. Thank you Dr. Massarotti!
I saw Dr. Massarrotti for what I thought was hemorrhoids. She told me I had a rectal prolapse, and we proceeded to schedule surgery. I have had complications since the surgery, which include constipation and pain and pressure from my tailbone to my rectum, causing the feeling that I need to use the restroom all of the time. When I do use the restroom, I am not able to empty my colon at one time. It takes several trips to the restroom, and then my colon spasms like crazy and I am in intense pain.
