He was kind but he didn’t draw my labwork correctly for my clotting disorder diagnosis, put me on the wrong medication, told me he doubted my clot ever actually existed, and then told me I didn’t need to see him and could just follow with my PCP. We've been a patient of Doctor Hu since 2008. He is a very kind physician who takes time with you. He explains everything. His office is efficient and runs on time. You will not be disappointed if you choose him for your Oncologist.
My father was scheduled to see him as a referral from his primary. This doctor flat out said, "you would be dead right now if you had cancer. Why are you here? Wasting my time." He cut my dad off during the entire conversation and brushed off all of his concerns. You should be ashamed of yourself. As an employee of Mercy, this is unacceptable behavior!
I have had Dr. HU for my oncologist for 6 years. He is the best. If you get Dr. HU you are very lucky. He is no nonsense and gets to the point. His staff is very good also. They are very efficient and pleasant. I wouldn't go to any other oncologist.
