I have had Dr. HU for my oncologist for 6 years. He is the best. If you get Dr. HU you are very lucky. He is no nonsense and gets to the point. His staff is very good also. They are very efficient and pleasant. I wouldn't go to any other oncologist.
Dr. Hu saved my life. He sat with me and my parents, I was 20, and explained everything perfectly. This man is amazing, patient, kind and understanding.
My family member was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and had her first meeting with this arrogant man. He refused to explain her diagnosis, answer questions or spend more than 5 minutes speaking to my parents. He literally stopped them and stated "I have 1 word for you, its the only thing you need to know" and listed off thr name of a medication. My mom was a patient of Dr. Hu. She had metastatic melanoma. While Dr. Hu seemed to provide her with the best treatment plan, he failed to recommend resources beyond prescription medications for mentally and physcially coping with cancer. We found out about palliative care and the Cancer Support Community on our own, and too late to be helpful to my mom.
