My mom stayed there, fell out of bed and was bruised and scraped on her face., died after being there 3 days, we were charged $3720. $3400 for a month of hospice care (minimum charge per contract) although she had Hearthland Hospice Care, $320 for the 3 days she actually was there. She died from her terminal illness. I told them when signing the contracts that as an RN I believed my mom only had about 2 weeks left and I was concerned about the minimum $3400 charge.
