I've had 2 occasions to call H-P Products about my RV Dirt Devil CV1500. They were VERY responsive both times. The first time my power head needed a circuit board, recieved it in a week The second, I called inquiring about a shorter hose as we never used the unit because the original hose was too long to carry in the rv and hence we never used it. I decided to ask if i could get a custom length hose made as we mostly dry mop the floor and just wanted to be able to vacuum up the pile. Within 2 hours i recieved a call about a ... read more

Our Dirt Devil Powermax designed for pet hair is an extremely loud vacuum that does a mediocre job. Even with collection canister empty it still leaves a fair bit of pet hair behind. This unit has been replaced once due to wheels breaking and auto rewind quitting. The attachment hose pieces like to come apart when in use. Lightweight but overall not too happy with this unit.
