I am perhaps Caldwell County's only Disabled Firefighter/ public safety official, and was severely injured from the line of duty. I suffered a terrific exposure illness from exposure to carbon monoxide and toxins and also a brain injury from the exposure which did not injure my brilliance but did cause me to have constant chronic severe pain issues.
