My whole family loves these restaurants - it's fun to cook at your table and the food is always so tasty. We went to this location the week it opened and they were a bit off. They messed up our order and everything was slow. Hopefully they've worked out the kinks.

Love Gyu-Kaku. The food is healthy and tasty and the atmosphere is fun and energetic. I love the West LA location the best but the others are good as well (Torrance, Beverly Hills, etc). One of my favorite restaurants in LA !!!
Great find! this place is great. Japanese style bbq premium meats, fresh vegetable, and great cocktail - everything was very good. Loved the kobe beef, garlic noodle and fresh salad . The service was attentive and very pleasant. This is one of the best restaurants in San Mateo.
cheapest beer in town. the bartenders are all very friendly and fast. good food, all day happy hour all day $10 pitchers and beer buckets.
I do not like Gyu-Kaku no more ,because they took off the charcoaland the fire is so slow.it takr for ever to grill,i am not going to go back there again
