Great food, great service. Definitely recommend
First time checkin' out Taco Darlin, this is absolutely a must try. If you are in search of traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex tacos, this is not the place for you, but if you are on the hunt for something different and unique...this is the place. WARNING! Portions are generous, bring an appetite.
Ordered an ahi tuna taco and two chicken ones. Husband ordered ahi tuna and korean bbq. He liked the tacos and I thought it was fine. Not super filling and some of the flavors just didn’t mesh well with a plain flour tortilla like the ahi tuna one. The elote dip however as an appetizer was super good. I would recommend that. Service was okay. Definitely on the pricey side, two drinks, three tacos each and an appetizer came to about $70. I don’t think it was worth paying that much.
Overall: below average food and below average service. Super let down today. Ordered two different chicken tacos. The Korean taco sauce did not taste like Korean flavors at all and the Buffalo chicken had what felt like old warm cabbage (not fresh and crispy like you’d expect). The chicken was both overcooked/dry and tasted/felt like it was cooked an hour or more ago. I’m a clean your plate kind of guy and I couldn’t do it.
